Our Mission
The mission of The Friends of Beacon Dog Park, Inc. is to operate a volunteer run dog park within the city of Beacon, NY. The dog park provides the residents of Beacon and the surrounding area a welcoming, well maintained enjoyable place to come play with and exercise their dog(s) off leash. Dogs from all municipalities are welcome. Please visit the apply for membership page for details on how to join. Membership fees and donations fund the upkeep of the park.
The Friends of Beacon Dog Park promotes healthy interactions between dogs, their care givers, and the public at large. Having a well cared-for, clean, and supportive dog park improves the lives of dog owners as well as their particular pet(s).
The Friends of Beacon Dog Park is a 501/c3 not-for-profit organization incorporated in the state of NY. Our mission is to maintain a volunteer run community funded dog park in the city of Beacon.
